Renovation of a water / sewer project in Sisseton, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The base bid shall include the construction of a new drinking water treatment facility. This shall include a new building structure to house water filter & treatment equipment. New building shall be precast walls, double tee roof structure, EPDM roofing w/ tapered insulations, scuppers, prefinished metal conductor heads and downspouts, prefinished metal parapet cap, interior CMU walls w/ concrete mezzanines, metal guardrails, concrete floor, concrete foundation/footings, hollow metal walk doors, and an insulated overhead garage door w/ bollards. Interior finishes to include, but not limited to casework, ACT ceiling, painting, vinyl base and VCT flooring. This work shall also include required mechanical, electrical and plumping provisions including control wiring for various equipment. The filter shall be a gravity Iron & Manganese sand filter (prepackaged) on a skid with piping assembled on-site. Included shall be the necessary chemical feed equipment, interior piping for raw well water, effluent water, waste water and backwash water, valves and appurtenances. Work shall also include typical site work improvements and connecting to existing infrastructure along with commission and startup of the facility. Alternate bid shall be considered for removal of existing equipment and piping from existing water treatment plant. Removal of interior walls and installation of an overhead insulated garage door.
