As of March 17, 2022, the project was awarded to the A. Folino Construction, Inc. Bid amount received is $110,434.40. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bidders bond in favor of the Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal.These Contracts are subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid not less than the minimum wages established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, as shown in the applicable schedule. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. The Contractor agrees that all work covered by this Contract shall be completed by October 31, 2022. The Contractor further agrees that for failure to complete all work within said time, liquidated damages may be assessed in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day
