As of April 4,2022, This project has been awarded to LAW GENERAL CONTRACTING, INC , with the awarded amount of $1,373,233,12. Alternately, bidders may call (614) 224-5149 and ask to speak with Corbin Williams. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a separate Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for each contract in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires the work to be completed no later than 180 Calendar Days after construction commences, but no later than December 31, 2023. Bidders must comply with the State Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Licking County. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code apply to this project. Copies of section 153.011 of the Revised Code can be obtained from any of the offices of the department of administrative services. The project consists of approximately 8,800 LF of water main in sizes 6", 8", 10", and 12". Project is along Christland Hill Rd, Columbus Ave., Avondale Rd., Lakeview Dr., Lake Dr., Terrace Ave., and Sunfish Lane. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a performance bond for 100 percent (100%) of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Licking County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Vendors should take notice that the awarded contract will be paid for, in whole or in part, by the County's American Rescue Plan funds. As a result, federal contracting/procurement requirements imposed by the federal Uniform Guidance for grant awards will apply. This will result in the use of a standardized agreement/ contract as set forth in these documents. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is: $ 1,322,261.00 Completion- December 31, 2023.
