The work consists principally of Tree maintenance, removal and stump removal and disposal. The Town of Brighton will not require a Bid Bond. Upon award of the Contract the contractor will be required to submit a Labor & Materials Payment Bond of $25,000 (twenty five thousand dollars.) This contract will start with the date of the contract award and run till the end of the year with the option to renew the contract up to three(3) additional twelve(12) month periods at the sole discretion of the Town of Brighton. The Town of Brighton is exempt under New York State Tax law, and therefore, no sales tax on the cost of materials incorporated into the project shall be included in the bid. The Town of Brighton reserves the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt before awarding any contract. The Town of Brighton further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept any Proposal or individual item or items, which it may deem to be the most favorable to its best interests
