Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The R. J. Corman Railroad Company/Carolina Lines, LLC (the railroad) has received a grant from the North Carolina Department of Transportation for rehabilitating portions of the Mullins subdivision. Work consists of replacing 5,875 cross ties, rehabilitating 4 at grade crossings, and associated surfacing. The railroad invites all interested parties to submit bids for the labor, asphalt, and equipment associated with this project. The contractor will provide asphalt for repaving two crossings, all other materials will be provided by the railroad. Any technical questions should be directed to the following email address: Melanie.Heckman@RJCorman.com Contract award is anticipated to be 4/7/2022, and all workcompleted not more than 6 months later. The railroad reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The railroad strongly encourages the participation of Women Business Enterprises and Minority Business Enterprises.
