Site work for a water / sewer project in Georgetown, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of all labor, materials, equipment and services required for installing approximately 6,000 LF of gravity sewer, 1,500 lf of force main and all pipe appurtenances including but not be limited to, pavement restoration, maintenance of traffic, and restoration necessary to complete the work. Contract Term: 180 Consecutive Calendar Days Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equivalent to ten (10) percent of the amount of the base bid and all alternates. The bid guarantee may be a certified check or a bid bond secured by a surety authorized to do business in Delaware. The bid guarantee shall be made payable to Sussex County Council. Contractors should visit the site at their earliest convenience to familiarize themselves with the entirety of proposed work. All Contractor questions must be submitted in writing to Will Hinz of WRA at whinz@wrallp.com no later than five (5) business days prior to the bid opening. Federal or State scale wage rates are NOT applicable on this Project. Liquid Asphalt Cement Cost Adjustment and Diesel Fuel Index are NOT applicable to this Project. Sussex County reserves the right to extend the time and place of the bid opening on not less than two (2) calendar days' notice by electronic means to those who have obtained copies of the Contract Documents. Sussex County reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids.
