Saving Project...

Site work for a road / highway in Caro, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

This work shall be at various locations throughout Tuscola County or state highways under the maintenance jurisdiction of the Tuscola County Road Commission. The work shall consist of one or more applications of longitudinal or special pavements markings applied to the prepared surface. Work will include approximately 80-100 miles of restriping primary roadways, 50 miles of layout and painting for new construction, and 10 railroad crossings countywide. Work to include replacing cross walks on the Southern Links Trailway at the following locations: Sheridan Road .69 miles north of Willard Road. Birch Run Road .92 miles west of Sheridan Road. Oak Road .57 miles south of Barnes Road. Barnes Road .79 miles east of M-15. To be accepted, the bid packet must be completed and returned in its entirety. Please contact Brent Dankert, Tuscola County Highway Engineer at 989-233-7472 or highwayengineer@tuscolaroad.org with any questions. Liquidated damages may be assessed at a rate of $100.00 per day per project. Please specify either on the check or via a note as to what you are requesting so they can be sent to you in a timely manner. Please allow mailing time. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to re-advertise or to accept the proposal, that in their opinion, is in the best interest of Tuscola County.
