Companies may bid on Part A or Part B or both. The Purchaser reserves the right to award Part A and B to one Respondent or to award each part separately. Part A - Outdoor Inspections - The annual inspection of outdoor playground structures, fixed outdoor basketball backboards, bleachers and softball backstops. Part B - Gymnasium Inspections - The annual inspection of fixed basketball backboards, retractable backboard systems, dividing walls, dividing curtains, weight rooms and indoor bleachers. There are 67 elementary schools, 1 intermediate schools, 15 high schools and 2 Adult schools listed in this Tender, all within the City of Ottawa. Any Contract awarded shall commence on May 1, 2022 and shall be completed on or about April 30, 2023, to the full satisfaction of the Purchaser. It is expressly agreed that the Purchaser shall have the option to extend any contract made with the successful Respondent(s) for one (1) additional one-year period.
