Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Installation of approximately 4,300 LF of water main, valves, fire hydrants, casing, removal and replacement on driveways, sidewalks, and sections of storm sewers, and connections and abandonments to existing water main. All work performed shall be in accordance with IDOT Bridge and Road Specifications (most recent version) as well as the Village of Metamora's Municipal Code. Work on this project is subject to the Federal Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Section 3 of HUD Act and contractor shall be registered with no exclusions. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
