Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
COON RAPIDS FIRE STATION 3: This bid will be for Work Scope 8A - Doors and Hardware Material, Work Scope 8B - Four Fold and Overhead Doors, and Work Scope 10B - Signage. The overall project is for construction of new 36,000 square foot ground-up single-story fire station as indicated in drawings and specifications produced by CNH Architects, dated January 5, 2022. Work includes 2 drive-thru apparatus bays, 4 double deep apparatus bays, operations and office space, and residence area. The station also includes central apparatus support areas for gear, decon, SCBA and other ancillary functions. The support area mezzanine and hose tower also provide significant firefighter training opportunities. Bids shall be directed to the City Clerk, securely sealed, and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with the inscription "BID FOR COON RAPIDS FIRE STATION 3, PROJECT 21-65, BID SCOPE __." The bids will be tabulated by City staff to be considered by City Council at 7:00 p.m., March 22, 2022. The City of Coon Rapids reserves the right to reject or hold all bids for 60 days.
