Our boiler is currently working; however, the boiler is not performing at maximum capacity. This RFP is to secure parts and labor to bring the boiler to maximum capacity. We are not looking to replace the boiler, only make minor repairs. Please ensure labor cost and removal cost of any parts (if applicable) is articulated in the RFP proposal. Vendors will also need to include a lead time for the parts or identify if the vendor has the parts on hand to perform the work. Currently the district believes the following parts and labor are needed to sustain/maintain the boiler: o Piping o Fittings o Valves o Insulation o Expansion Joint Replacements o Pumps o Motors (include size on response) o Heat Exchanger o Labor The list above is not an all-inclusive list needed. Vendors must attend the Mandatory Pre-bid meeting to inspect the unit and develop a detailed list of materials, labor and identified repairs. The Director of Facilities will be present to discuss the boiler and extent of the project.
