This contract is for "Maintenance Works" in various locations within the Quesnel Natural Resource District.. The term of this contract will be from April 1, 2022 thru March 15, 2023 with work expected to begin late May to early June of 2021. Work will continue thru until mid to late October of 2021 or later if weather conditions are favorable. The Ministry reserves the right to limit the number of contracts that any one contractor will be awarded. No compensation will be paid to the contractor for meeting the current COVID -19 safety requirements. Occurrence and assignment of works will be on an "as needed" basis influenced by priority, weather and environmental constraints and no work is guaranteed. The contractor must supply the specified equipment at an all found rate to complete the assigned work. For this contract, "supply" is defined as providing the required equipment within the specified timelines. The contractor must commence work in the timelines specified in Section 4 of Schedule A. The equipment can be subcontracted but must follow the subcontracting criteria defined in the attached Schedule F "Subcontracting Schedule". For the purpose of this contract, all costs will be calculated from the marshalling point, which is Quesnel, British Columbia. "Maintenance works" may include but not be limited to: o Culvert Installation o Ditching/Drainage Management o Repair and/or Replace damaged Structures. o Stabilize and/or Restore Watercourse Crossings o Gravelling Projects Road Repairs Any question must be submitted via email to Quesnel.Engineering@gov.bc.ca by March 8th, 2021, 14:00 local time.
