Much of the land added to Hart Park has been developed, however, the area east of 68th Street is not slated for development until funds becomes available through TIF funding. The MMSD will soon be completing work on their earthen levee in this area so we may be able to partner with those efforts in order to reduce future project costs. Improvements will likely include a new bridge over the river connecting Hart Park to Jacobus Park, new multi-use pathways, community garden space, lighting, and a pavilion.
