As of March 22 the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established . A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the modernization of three (3) elevators in separate buildings on the Boise State campus: A three-stop hydraulic elevator in the Math Building, a twostop hydraulic elevator in the Communications Building and a three-stop hydraulic elevator in the Ruch Engineering Building including associated building, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm upgrades. Waterproofing of the pit in the Math Building is also included. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. Bidder hereby agrees to commence Work under this Contract on a date to be specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to substantially complete the Project within Two hundred fifty-nine (259) consecutive calendar days thereafter, as stipulated in the specifications. Bidder further agrees to substantially complete the work in four phases as follows: Phase 1, Elevator procurement and delivery within one hundred fifty-four (154) consecutive calendar days; Phase 2, Modernize Math Elevator No. 2, within forty-two (42) consecutive calendar days of Substantial Completion of Phase 1; Phase 3, Modernization of Ruch Engineering Elevator No. 1, within forty-two (42) consecutive calendar days of the Substantial Completion of Phase 2 ; Phase 4, Modernize Communications Building Elevator No.1, within thirty-five (35) consecutive calendar days of the Substantial Completion of Phase 3. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sums listed below for each phase individually and separately for each consecutive calendar day after the established substantial completion dates or adjusted dates as established by Change Order: Phase 1: $500 (Five Hundred Dollars); Phase 2: $500 (Five Hundred Dollars); Phase 3: $500 (Five Hundred Dollars); Phase 4 and Entire Project: $500 (Five Hundred Dollars).
