Project number- 21-317 The City of Plaquemine Entry Park and Pavilion project consists of selective site demolition, a single story 6,200 square foot pavilion structure with a heated/cooled 780 square foot masonry restroom and storage space structure beneath, ceiling fans in the pavilion area (6), pavilion lighting, controlled access surface paving, an open lawn space enclosed by an illuminated masonry garden wall, illuminated masonry street signage, area lighting, bench seating, landscaping, irrigation, chain link fencing with privacy slats, wireless internet access points, and an exterior wall mounted video display screen located at 23370 LA-1, Plaquemine, LA 70764. The pavilion structure will be adjacent and attached to the existing Plaquemine Depot Market building on its north facing wall. No additional work to the existing building is contained within the base bid. The project includes three alternates as follows: 1. The installation of gas fueled overhead area heaters (12) in the pavilion area of the new structure. 2. The removal of three existing stud and siding infill panels and one door on the existing Depot Market building and replacing with new masonry infill, new aluminum windows (2), and new doors (2). 3. The construction of an 8 foot high by 400 foot long masonry wall in lieu of the chain link fence and privacy slats in base bid.
