SSHE-ARCH-2023: Centrally Held Open-Ended Contracts for Design Professional Architectural Services The State System of Higher Education, through the Office of the Chancellor, intends to contract with a number of firms in order to have firms available to perform a variety of Professional Architectural services for the System and its universities. These proposed contracts will replace the existing SSHE-ARCH-2016 Centrally Held Open-end contracts for Architectural Services. The contracts will be indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts. The contracts will not have a specific dollar value attached to them. Services, with associated fees, will be ordered against the contracts if and when needed by the System and its universities. The term of the contracts will be two years, plus two optional renewal terms of two years each, for a maximum of six years. This procurement will be consistent with the requirements of both the Commonwealth Procurement Code (62 Pa.C.S. 101 et seq.) and Act 188 of 1982 as amended for the selection of professionals. Selections will be made solely on technical merit (experience and qualifications). Billable rates will be negotiated with proposers who are selected. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
