SCOPE OF WORK The City of Asheville is soliciting proposals for the services of a firm/team for the following contract scope of work: The City of Asheville is requesting the submission of a Letter of Interest (LOI) for Engineering and Planning firms to provide professional planning, engineering, and design for a one-mile section of the Wilma Dykeman Greenway along Riverside Drive (NC 251) from Hill Street to Pearson Bridge Road in Asheville, NC. The project QBS (Qualification Based Selection) process will be utilized, in accordance with NC General Statute 143-64.31, to determine a qualified firm to complete professional services for the project. Submission by a firm to this LOI does not mean that the firm will be awarded a contract for this project. The City is seeking a firm whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven professional services to the City. This project is funded through the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) program administered by NCDOT. The total budget for this project is $300,000. Deadline for Questions - June 20, 2022, All submissions, correspondence, and questions concerning this RFLOI should be directed to Anna Sexton at asexton@ashevillenc.gov. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
