Look for evidence of corrosion 2. Check appearance and cleanliness of battery, rack/cabinet, and battery room 3. Remove dirt accumulation on the top of jars 4. Inspect for cracks, leaks, or bad cells, and check connection torques 5. Re-tighten battery connections per manufacturer's specifications (if needed) 6. Top off all fluids for batteries. 1.
