Bids are requested for the following work: CONTRACT AL-2022-02 600 Lineal Feet of Removing & Abandoning Watermain 100 Lineal Feet 8-Inch & 12-Inch PVC Watermain 600 Directionally Drilled 14-Inch HDPE Watermain. Bids shall be sealed and shall have the name and address of the bidder and the contract for which the bid is being submitted on the outside of the envelope. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the Bid Forms included in the contract documents. EXAMINATION OF DOCUMENTS -The contract documents are on file for inspection at the Village of Allouez, 1900 Libal Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin 54301. BID SECURITY - No bid shall be re- ceived unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Allouez in the amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION - The OWNER re- serves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any information in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Village of Allouez. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS - No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER. PROOF OF RESPONSIBILTY - A proof of responsibility (pre-qualification) form for all contracts must be filed in the Village of Allouez, Director of Public Works, 1900 Libal street, Green Bay Wisconsin 54301 no later than 2-working days prior to the date of receiving bids, and shall show sufficient ability, equipment and experience to properly perform the contract. The Village of Allouez decision as to qualifications shall be final. GOVERNING LAWS & REGULATIONS - The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 66.0901, 66.0903 and 779.16 of the Wisconsin statutes.
