Provide preventative maintenance and repair work to several different elements of the school building envelope per this IFB. Some City owned or maintained facilities will be temporarily and/or conditionally opened and available for site investigations and/or construction work. Based on recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Virginia Department of Health and the Thomas Jefferson Health District, all City staff, contractors and vendors must adhere to strict social distancing recommendations, wearing of face coverings, enhanced sanitizing procedures, and apply relevant workplace guidance and regulations from state and federal authorities. Provide preventative maintenance and repair work to several different elements of the school building envelope. The work will consist of (but not necessarily limited to) the following: Repaint exposed section of steel lintels, as detailed in construction documents. Repaint existing exterior handrails, as detailed in construction documents. Repaint portico soffit, as detailed in construction documents. Expansion joint replacement, as detailed in construction documents. Repair concrete flatwork around columns at side entrance, as detailed in construction documents. Replace section of EDPM roof, as detailed in construction documents. Select brickwork & masonry repairs, as detailed in construction documents. Concrete window sill replacement, as detailed in construction documents. Replace select guttering & downspouts, as detailed in construction documents. Replace missing PVC window trim, as detailed in construction documents. Select steel lintel repair, as detailed in construction documents. Waterproof sub ground exterior wall at inner courtyard, as detailed in construction documents. Provision of competent management and supervision of the project at all times; and, Thorough cleaning of the project site.
