PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work includes the following: A. Construction of a new water treatment facility building with 350 gpm aluminum package gravity filtration system, reverse osmosis treatment system, and associated chemical feed and controls and instrumentation systems. B. Replacement of pumps, piping, and controls for existing Well No. 1 and Well No. 2. C. Construction of 910 LF of 6-inch raw water transmission line from Well No. 1 to the new water treatment facility. D. Construction of 1,090 LF of 10-inch distribution line from new water treatment facility to Main Avenue N. E. Demolition of existing 100,000 gallon multi-legged elevated water storage tank. Lead mitigation required. Portions of the tank will be salvaged for use in a decorative sculpture. F. Construction of decorative sculpture using portions of historical elevated water tank. G. Installation of level sensing equipment at existing Elevated Tower No. 2 on a separate site. H. Demolition of existing water treatment facility.
