The Town of Bruno (the Town) is located approximately eight kilometers north of Highway 5 on Highway 670, approximately 100 kilometers northeast of the City of Saskatoon in the Province of Saskatchewan. The Town is looking for construction services for a water loop expansion of the Town's watermain. Currently just one water main line exists that connects the north part of the Town with the south part. The new line will be located between SE 17 38 25 W2 and SW 16 38 25 W2 in the southwestern part of the Town (the Site). The main objective of the project is to increase access, reliability, and capacity of potable water. This project is partially funded by the Government of Canada and Saskatchewan through the Investing In Canada Infrastructure Program. The new water line will cross underneath the main CN rail line, in between Mile Posts 18 and 19. Total length of pipe will be roughly 150 m, required pipe casing through CN rail right-of-way will be roughly 50 m in length. The summary of construction for a new watermain includes: Supply and install trenched segment of HDPE water mains as per specification and drawings Supply and install trenchless (horizontally drilled under railway) segment of watermain with steel casing under CN rail line as per the drawings and specifications Supply and install fittings and appurtenances to connect new line to the existing line Flush, disinfect, bacteriologically test, and pressure test new line Restore existing asphalt road for area where open trench was used Hard Copies of Bid Documents may be obtained at the PINTER offices, located at 710A 48th Street East, Saskatoon, SK or 36-395 Park Street, Regina, SK.
