The Project consists of: Removal of obstructing fallen trees and debris resulting from Hurricane Ida by chipping and/or hauling off on about 64.2 miles of designated laterals including W1 (Main) - Yellow Water River; W2 (Main) Ponchatoula Creek; W2-L4 East Fork Ponchatoula Creek; W8 (Main) Anderson Canal; W8-DC Diversion Canal, and W9 (Main) Natalbany River. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the District Administrator, Consolidated Gravity District No. 1 of Tangipahoa Parish; 48571 Highway 51 North; Tickfaw, LA 70466. Non-Bidders will receive a refund of $100.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Spangler Engineering, LLC. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
