Renovation of an educational facility in Neilburg, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,750-square-foot educational facility.
The work under this contract is for the removal and replacement of approximately 13,750 ft2 total of roofs for the Neilburg Composite School. There are fourteen (14) separate sections of roof to be replaced. The existing roofing systems are being removed and a new SBS modified bitumen roofing system is being installed in their place. Refer to attached documents for details. Roof sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 currently consist of the following; granular ballast, built up hot mapped bituminous roofing, 2 layers fibreboard, sloped EPS insulation, hot mopped bituminous vapour barrier, gypsum board, metal deck. Roof section 13 is an inverted roof consisting of concrete topped rigid insulation, 2 mil poly, 4ply built up membrane, gypsum board, 4ply built up felt membrane, stramit deck/insulation. The stramit for roof section 13 is to be replaced with 3/4 " plywood decking as part of the contract.
