Reference Number 00002938945 The Strathcona Regional District is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified individuals, companies, or community groups to provide inspection and maintenance services at the Granite Bay Wharf on Quadra Island. This contract, worth $6,900 annually, requires a minimum of three to five site visits per week (dependent on season) over a twelve-month period commencing May 1, 2022, and ending April 30, 2023, with the possibility of renewal. Expressions of Interest must include a cover letter and resume detailing your relevant experience, your ability to conduct the services, your ability to respond to call outs, and a minimum of two references. The following information must be included in the Expression of Interest: 1. Status of existing Comprehensive General Liability insurance 2. Status with the Workers Compensation Board 3. Status of driver's license and applicable vehicle insurance. 4. Availability to communicate by phone and/or email and to respond to issues or emergencies at Granite Bay with short notice. 5. Experience and ability to conduct wharf inspections and/or hazard identification. 6. Experience and ability to conduct wharf and/or grounds maintenance. 7. Experience and ability to communicate with wharf users, collect fees and monitor for bylaw infractions.
