As of September 24, 2024, the project was awarded to Kubricky-Jointa Lime, LLC but the awarded amount is not available. The rehabilitation of Loon Lake Dam consists of repairing existing concrete and masonry walls, constructing a new concrete liner wall along the downstream face of the dam and adding a concrete and riprap apron along the downstream toe of the dam. Additionally, a new concrete cap beam will be constructed along the dam crest and near vertical post-tension anchors bonded in soil through the existing dam crest will be installed. The proposed rehabilitation also includes permeation grouting through the dam. Bidders are also advised that this project is subject to Prevailing Wage. Each Bidder must also accompany their bid with bid security in the amount of 10% of the total Contract Price set forth in the Bid. Such bid security must be in the form of either a certified or cashier s check made payable to the Owner or in the form of a Bid Bond executed by a company licensed to execute surety bonds in the State of New York and acceptable to the Owner. If the Bid security is to be a Bid Bond, the same shall be in a form satisfactory to the Owner, shall be substantially similar to the form of Bid Bond attached to the Project Manual (EJCDC C-430), shall be accompanied with evidence, in the form of a Power of Attorney or otherwise, of the authority of the individuals executing the Bond on behalf of the surety company to do so and shall also be accompanied with said company's current statement of assets, liabilities, surplus and other funds. Prior to the execution of the Contract, the successful bidder will be required to furnish the Owner with a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. All Bonds to be furnished to the Owner shall be executed by a company licensed to execute surety bonds in the State of New York and acceptable to the Owner. Bidders may not withdraw their respective bids for a period of 60 days after the receipt of same by the Owner. Based upon the specifications, the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and to award the Contract in a manner deemed by it to be in its best interest.
