Site work for a water / sewer project in Southside, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Projects are generally described as follows: CONTRACT NO. 2 - Construction of a 500,000-gallon glass-fused-to-steel bolted expandable ground storage tank, yard piping, well treatment building and high service pumps. This shall also include chlorination and chemical (corrosion inhibitor) systems, electrical, VFD, generator, SCADA and instrumentation. The Owner requires the Project to be completed in 270 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed. CONTRACT NO. 3 Labor Only installation of approximately 17,000 linear feet of 12" DI water main, 3,100 LF of 16" DI water main, 5 EA 16" gate valves, 22 EA 12" gate valves, 16 EA fire hydrants and fittings of various sizes. All material is at the project site. Ductile iron water mains consist of push-on and restrained joint pipe. Work shall also include reconnecting water services to new main and abandoning existing mains. The Owner requires the Project to be completed in 210 calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check in the amount of a sum no less than five (5) percent of the Bid Price but not more than $10,000.00. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids.
