Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lake Forest, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City intends to engage the services of an experienced Contractor to remove up to three existing pumps and install new pumps at the Spruce and Sheridan Lift Station at 520 E. Spruce Ave. in The City of Lake Forest, Illinois. Bids shall be sealed and shall have the name and address of the bidder and the contract for which the bid is being submitted, plainly marked 2022 SPRUCE LIFT STATION PUMP REPLACEMENTS PROJECT, on the outside of the envelope. All bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the Bid Forms included in the contract documents. The City of Lake Forest reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept the bid, or any item of any bid, deemed by the City Council to be the most favorable to the interests of the municipality. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates for Lake County Illinois on the project as established by the Illinois Department of Labor. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the owner.
