The materials shall meet the requirements of the plans, contract documents and AITX This construction project is financed by the Mississippi Development Authority, Community Services Division, by a Community Development Block Grant through the Small Government Public Facilities Category, 1138-21-043-ED-01, and is subject to the rules and regulations of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 and all amendments thereof. Neither the United States nor any departments, agencies, or employees is, or will be, a part of this Invitation for Proposals or any resulting contract. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 and its associated regulations (24 C.F.R., Part 75). CDBG regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be extended to Section 3 businesses, Targeted Section 3 Workers and Section 3 Workers.
