Nelson County, Virginia (The County) is seeking qualified companies to submit bids for mowing and trimming services to be provided from April 1, 2022 - October 31, 2022. The scope of this work includes mowing and trimming lawns at the following County property sites: Bids may be submitted for the following locations as specified on the Bid form: Courthouse Complex - includes Courthouse Building Complex and parking areas, E911 Dispatch Center, Sheriff's Dept., and prior Nelson County Health Dept. site. Nelson County Dept. of Social Services, Montreal Village Park, Nelson County Maintenance Shop, Blue Ridge Railway Trail, Welcome to Nelson signs (on Route 29 North and South County entrances), two (2) sewage pumping stations (on Route 56 and on Route 151 in Piney River) and Ryan Ball Field Property (105 Braddock Ln.). Nelson County Convenience Centers - includes Faber, Shipman, Massies Mill, and Rockfish sites, McGinnis Building, Nelson County Memorial Library and Tourism Dept. This Invitation is for a sealed bid due on March 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM EDT. Criteria for Bid selection include 1) availability and ability to provide mowing and trimming as well as weed control services as specified in the IFB document during the contract period, and 2) pricing.
