Removing approximately 2,400, 5/8" to 10" mechanical meters, encoders and transmitting equipment and installing ultrasonic meters with central automatic meter reading capabilities. SCOPE OF WORK: The Village of Tarrytown is seeking proposals from qualified firms that have the ability to provide a turnkey solution to both upgrade and automate to a central automatic remote meter read system to the existing water meter reading system (Automatic Meter Reading) at the Village of Tarrytown. The selected firm will need to exhibit extensive skill at performing complete project management for the installation of and fully automated remote meter reading system along with new meters. The selected vendor will need to provide proof of having performed Project Management for similar projects, provide the new meter reading systems, and provide installation of approximately 2000 meters ranging in size from 2" residential. The selected vendor will also need to provide the meter reading system software, integration to the Village billing program, training of office staff on the CAMR system, and training for the field staff for component installation and maintenance. The Village of Tarrytown desires to complete the entire project within 12 months from date of award.
