Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Cambridge, Maryland. Completed plans call for the demolition of a clubhouse / community center; for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (this "RFP") is for The Commissioners of Cambridge, a Maryland municipal corporation (the "City") and Mace's Lane Community Center, Inc. ("MLCC") to select a Construction Management ("CM") firm to provide professional pre-construction and CM at Risk construction services for the Mace's Lane Community Center Renovation (the "Project"). The Project includes demolition and major renovation to the existing historic Mace's Lane School and associated site improvements. The scope of services for the Project are more fully set forth in the "Required CM Services" section of the complete RFP. Any questions about this RFP and the Project are to be submitted by e-mail to bids@maceslanecc.org. All questions shall be submitted by 5:00 p.m. local time on March 10, The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or portions thereof, or to modify the scope of work following award, as more fully set forth in the contract documents, when, in the Commissioners of Cambridge's judgment, the public will be better served.
