SUMMARY: Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Community Center Rooftop HVAC units 1 & 2 Replacement Project a Federally Funded Project. As this is a federally funded project, the federal provisions control if any City or State provisions conflict with the federal provisions. The bid price shall include costs for engineer design and specifications, local and state permitting, removal of existing units, installation of new units with any required plumbing/venting, and all tools, equipment, materials, and labor for the full installation of the two new HVAC units. The project includes all common phases of construction customarily associated with this type of project. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: This is a Federal-aid contract and the requirements for such shall apply. On a Federal-aid contract, any Contractor otherwise qualified by the State of Nevada to perform such work is not required to be licensed nor to submit application for license in advance of submitting a bid or having such bid considered, provided, however, that such exception does not constitute a waiver of the State's right under its license laws to require a Contractor, determined to be a successful bidder, to be licensed to do business in the State of Nevada with a Class C-1 in connection with the award of the contract to him. Bidders, their representatives, and all other interested persons may be present during the bid opening. AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department.
