Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Skokie, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and power facility.

The Skokie Park District will receive bids for the Devonshire Cultural Center Solar Panel Installation beginning Thursday, February 24th at the Park Services Facility after 9:00 a.m. Bids are also available electronically by calling the Skokie Park District at 847 929-7800. The scope of work includes installation of solar panels at the Devonshire Cultural Center located at 4440 Greenwood Street. The Skokie Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities in the bidding if it should be deemed in the public best interest. The Work of this project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 1300 01 et seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made but the Park District the IDOL for public works projects in Cook County. The contract entered into for the work will be drawing in compliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide payment for all laborers, workmen and mechanics needed to perform the work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages for each craft, type of worker or mechanic.
