President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park, Cook County, Illinois, that sealed bid proposals will be received for the following improvement: 2022 ALLEY IMPROVEMENTS The work shall take place on N-S alley between Kolze Ave. and River Road from Library Ln. to Cullom Ave and also on N-S alley between Scott St. and Hirschberg Ave. from North side of Creek to Montrose Ave. The scope of work includes earth excavation, pavement removal, curb and gutter removal and replacement, PCC garage apron removal and replacement, PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, PCC alley pavement, storm sewer installation, edge grade adjustment, aggregate base course, type B, geotechnical fabric, hot mix asphalt seeding and fertilizing, construction videotaping and traffic control and protection. No bid proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by such a bid bond or check. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid opening. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Village of Schiller Park reserves the right to determine the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder, to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bid proposals. Work must be completed by June 10, 2022.
