Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Colquitt, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists of +/- 2,509 linear feet of 8" PVC Sewer Main, +/- 144 linear feet of 10" Cured In Place Piping, assorted 18"-36" storm drain piping, 2,900 linear feet of 24" roll over curb and gutter,+/- 12 drop inlets and +/- 195 Tons of 1" 9.5 mm Superpave Asphalt Resurfacing. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The City of Colquitt, Georgia reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Colquitt. The work to be performed under this contract is under a program providing direct Federal financial assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701 U. Section 3 requires that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for employment and training be given to the low-income residents of the project area, and contracts for work in connection with the project to be awarded to business concerns which are located in, or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the area of the project.
