PURPOSE: The purpose and intent of this Quick Quote is to obtain a fixed price bid to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, and supervision to replace (42) forty two existing bollard lighting units and render operational new/unused like in kind or Agency Approved Equal units located on grounds of Pocahontas State Park II. SCOPE OF WORK/MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: Contractor shall provide a fixed price bid to include the following minimum specifications to remove, provide and install lighting fixtures at the Pocahontas State Park Amphitheater and surrounding areas, located on the grounds of Pocahontas State Park 10301 State Park Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832 per specifications below: A. Contractor shall remove existing (42) Forty two existing bollard lights and replace with a bollard style light meeting the minimum specifications: 1. Contractor shall identify and review location of existing lighting locations: a) (29) twenty nine located on Amphitheater pathways. b) (7) seven located at Amphitheater ticket booth. c) (5) five located at Visitor Center stairs at Amphitheater. d) (1) one located behind Amphitheater. e) Contractor shall provide and install new/unused bollard lights as matching scope specifications. 2. Contractor shall remove existing Bollards and dispose of according to all local, state and national standards. 3. Contractor shall provide RAB Bled10Y replacement Bollard or Agency Approved Equal meeting the minimum specifications below: a) LED Lumens if greater than 500 must be fully shielded. b) LED Lifespan of 100,000 hours or greater. c) (5) five year warranty or greater d) LED color temp of 3,000K (warm) or agency approved similar e) 10 Watt or agency approved wattage f) Exterior finish color Black or Brown g) Must meet Dark Sky program certifications 4. Contractor shall schedule a close out of installation meeting and perform a full system startup and review of the installation with (1) one park staff, including an overview training of the operation and maintenance of the new system and all accessories. 5. Contractor shall provide (1) one PRINTED user maintenance manuals to park staff at time of startup demonstrations. 6. Contractor shall provide the business name, contact name, phone number, and address of an authorized service repair vendor that will honor all warranty work and repairs on the product they (the bidder) offer in the project, that offers same day or minimum 24 hour response time (including weekends). Failure to submit this information may exclude your bid from being considered in evaluations. 7. Contractor may be requested to provide subcontractors names in the event your company is the proposed service provider and is more than an hour from the installation location. B. GENERAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS/CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS: 1. Contractor shall practice lock out tag out safety procedures and follow all OSHA, State and Federal guidelines during installation as building will be occupied during repairs. 2. Work Hours: All Services shall be performed during normal business hours starting at 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M Monday through Friday and coordinated with the park, except for State and Federal Holidays, unless mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and the Park Contact. Contractor shall provide a workmanship warranty information in the comments section of the quick quote or by email to Mary.Cook-Jones@dcr.virginia.gov at time of bid.
