This project is for the pavement preservation of approximately 2.046 miles of SR's 4009, 4013 & 1045 in Blair County. Work includes milling and resurfacing, guide rail, signing and pavement markings, traffic signal upgrades, design and construction of ADA cement concrete curb ramps and other miscellaneous construction. This project includes the addition of a 75' long left turn lane along 6th Avenue (SR 0764) at 7th Street (SR 4013). Traffic signal improvements to accommodate the proposed left turn lane are included. Work also includes milling and overlay, drainage, modifications to lane designations, and pavement markings and signing on 7th Street (SR 4013) between 7th Avenue (SR 0764) and the Chestnut Avenue (SR 4013) intersection to improve lane utilization and optimization. TA new traffic signal controller will be installed at Chestnut Street at 7th Street. A new overhead sign structure will be constructed on the 7th Street (SR 4013) bridge with enhanced signage. All work to be completed as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 4013, SECTION 007, in BLAIR COUNTY, LOGAN TOWNSHIP, CITY OF ALTOONA at the locations indicated in the bid package.
