Please take notice that the San Juan Unified School District ("District") is issuing a Request for Proposals ("RFP") to qualified entities for Lease-Leaseback ("LLB") services pursuant to Education Code section 17406 to provide preconstruction and construction related services for the Arcade Fundamental Middle School New Construction ("Project"). The award will be to the entity offering the best value to the District, as defined in the RFP.

5/16/2022 Anticipated NTP for Pre-Construction services issuance The Scope of Work for the Project consists of the following:
o Preconstruction services, including without limitation providing review of and input on design documents, value engineering, estimating, preliminary scheduling, and bidding to develop the Total Base Rent
o The project consists of a new campus style middle school with classroom buildings, Science and Makers Space Classroom buildings, an Administration and Library building and a Multipurpose building, while the existing campus is active. Once the new Classroom, Science and Maker Space classrooms come online, the Demolition of the existing Arcade Fundamental Middle School could begin. There will be site work to upgrade, underground utilities and prepare the ground for the new buildings and accessible hard courts and new play fields. The project will also include new driveways and parking lots. Post-construction lease of the facilities License required: B General Building Contractor Anticipated submittal of Plans and Specifications to the Division of the State Architect: 8/8/2022 Anticipated Start of Construction: Fall 2022 Estimated total cost of the Project: $53,000,000
