**As of March 14, 2022 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is not yet established. The intent of this solicitation is to receive a proposal with a statement of qualifications (SOQ) from Contractors and a price to furnish and install new waterlines to replace aging pipe on Stornoway Circle, Caledonia Circle, Kilmuir Circle, Tarbert Circle, Lock Awe Area (including Lock Awe Drive Lennox Drive, Braenear Circle, and Caithness Circle), and Gairlock Circle and all related appurtenances to provide an operational and safe water system. Some curb & gutter replacement is also included in the work. The City expects to award Bid Schedules A through F as listed. Alternative Bid Schedule G is optional depending on budget. However, the sum of all bid schedules will be used for scoring purposes. Contractors shall review drawings and specifications in order to provide a price that will cover the desired work. Any services that have been omitted from this specification that are clearly necessary for completing the work shall be considered a requirement although not directly specified or called for in the RFP. Contractors are expected to follow all local, city, state, and federal standards, codes, and specifications The contractor is expected to complete the work within 120 consecutive days from date of Notice to Proceed. The City will work with the contractor to determine the Notice to Proceed; however, all the work included in this bid shall be completed no later than October 15, 2023. Schedule shall be submitted with bid, but it will not receive any scores. Contractors are expected to coordinate with staff and third parties to complete the project. While the RFP is open, communication of any kind made regarding this project with any City employee is prohibited.
