The project involves the reconstruction of the roadway, lighting and the addition of a multifunctional path over a total length of approximately 345 m. Occasional work to upgrade the water and sewer infrastructure is also planned. Financial guarantees and other specific requirements are listed in the tender documents. Only individuals, corporations or companies having their principal place of business in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement applicable to this contract are authorized to bid. This contract is subject to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO), the Agreement on the Liberalization of Public Procurement in Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The City does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders submitted and will not incur any obligation, lawsuit or claim for costs or losses incurred by the tenderers as a result of such decisions. The City also reserves the right to remove certain parts of the contract. Bid bond 10% is required. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
