The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain proposals from qualified vendors for the provision, and installation of ADA compliant bus stop pads. Vendors must examine all solicitation documents including the General Terms and Conditions for Lake County Florida. All communication, inquiries, or requests for exceptions are to be directed to the Contracting Officer. The last day for questions or requests for exceptions is 03/18/2022. An addendum may be issued in response to any inquiry received, which changes or clarifies the terms, provisions, or requirements of the solicitation. No answers given in response to questions submitted will be binding upon this solicitation unless released in writing as an addendum to the solicitation and posted electronically. Timely delivery failure may result in assessment of liquidated damages at the rate of $50.00 per calendar day until the installation is completed in full. Should the Contractor experience supply-chain issues, the Contractor shall notify the County of any delays outside of the project schedule. It is preferential to remain informed and collaborate with the Contractor as opposed to collecting liquidated damages. The County reserves the right to have any or all completed sites evaluated by a third-party specialist to determine / evaluate full compliance with ADA requirements
