The project is located above a former sanitary landfill site (LES), formerly known as the Miron quarry, which is now named Frederic-Back Park within the Saint-Michel Environmental Complex (CESM) . The work of this contract includes (without being limited to) the construction of a trail with culverts, as well as the construction of riprap, and planting in a portion of the Plaine Est sector at Frederic-Back Park. The work site is in operation. Like a very large part of the CESM, the project sector is equipped with "capture wells" for biogas. These wells are used to take readings of biogas concentrations by municipal employees. This equipment must be preserved and the contractor must pay particular attention to its presence and preservation. A site visit will allow the contractor to better understand their form and their role. In a non-exhaustive manner, the works planned in this tender are:
. site organization;
. protection of the existing environment and plants;
. demolition, displacement and addition of site fences;
. stripping of grass surfaces;
. relocation / reinstallation of metal fence on Jersey edge;
. excavation, earthwork and site shaping;
. infrastructure of paths and trails, drainage;
. placement of potting soil and surface harrowing;
. development of footpaths and rest area;
. construction of drainage ditches;
. supply and installation of temporary protective fencing;
. displacement / relocation of granite blocks;
. development of stone dust paths and trails, foundation included;
. installation of street furniture;
. planting shrubs, perennials and grasses;
. hydraulic seeding;
. supply and installation of limestone elements;
. installation of a low wall made of large stones;
. installation of riprap in large stones.
Bid bond 10% is required.
Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required. award is subject to final approval.
