Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Polson, Montana. Working plans call for the construction of a 3,360-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of May 9, 2022, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. Detailed Building Specs-- 60 X 40 open area 24 X 40 two-story extension connected by internal doors --Extension houses kitchen (two sinks) and 2 bathrooms each with 1 sink/2 toilets, 2nd floor is a classroom 5 external doors 3 internal doors (1 double, 2 single) Pre-fab walls for 60 X 40 are 16 Pre-fab walls for 24 X 40 twostory extension; floor will be constructed by builder 60X 40 foundation is monolithic slab; 24 X 40 footing w/slab on grade Excavation within 4 in. of final grade Plumbing Insulation Sheet rock Steel siding Electrical Asphalt roofing 5/12 pitch, with gutters Purchase of materials is open for discussion. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount must accompany all bids, per MCA 18-1-202. This bid bond will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when the bid is awarded. The board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, to evaluate the bids submitted and to accept the proposal which best serves the interest of the school district. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
