Coroner Crime Lab Dryden Road Renovation Project will renovate existing Environmental Services laboratory and waste water pre-treatment plant for use by the Coroner Crime Lab. The overall goal of this project is fit the updated program into the existing SF of the building. The building functions under consideration for addition to the existing footprint are an attached multifunctional sallyport/garage, a loading dock and a mechanical penthouse on the roof. Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as Montgomery County Coroner Crime Lab Dryden Road Renovation Project and MUST HAVE THE FULL NAME AND ADDRESS of the proposer on the envelope. The county commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularity of proposals, should same be to the advantage of the county. All potential proposers are requested to attend the pre-proposal conference. Architectural, Structural and MEP design services fees estimated at $2,000,000 A Selection Recommendation Committee will be appointed to review and rate all Qualification Statements and to select three (3) to be interviewed between April 8-14, 2022. Each interview will be scheduled for sixty (60) minutes. Times will be set at a later date. As of February 3, 2023, this project is on indefinite hold. An issuance of short-listed firms has not been released. The design firm selected has not been disclosed.
