Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Phased upgrades, repairs and improvement to the west sector of Marcil municipal park. The scope of the project includes the demolition of some structures located in this sector of the park, upgrades to the remaining ones, extensive landscaping work including site leveling, excavation and disposal of contaminated soils, development of trails, parking access roads and lookouts, trees planting. TIMELINE: The project has finally been approved by the Quebec Ministry of the Environment. According to the owner's plans the project implementation will be phased. The first construction phase relating to the excavation, decontamination and site preparation, including leveling and earthworks has been already tendered, awarded and is followed in the report under CRM Id name Marcil Park - Development Work - Phase 1. Construction is underway. Implementation of subsequent project phases relating to the park building upgrades/construction is pending required approvals and funding and will be followed as soon as their design restarts.
