Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Arlington, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a 37,103-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and 64,800-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
Work includes site improvements of the main arrival court, a new courtyard formed by the new building 1 and existing building. New south courtyard between the new building 7 and existing building 6 and new parking lot on the east side of campus. Building 1 is a 2 story type II-B fully sprinklered building approximately 37,000 square feet and will have a hard connection at level 1 to the existing ESED building. Building 7 is a 3-story approximately 64,800 square feet and will connect at level 02 to the existing ESCT building. Level will accommodate culinary program functions. Level 2 will have faculty offices, dietetic suite, 5 classroom. Level 3 has science labs. An architect and construction managers at-risk have been selected. As of August 26, 2022 this project is under construction, having originally begun work June 2022. Anticipated sub bid date is Fall 2023. *AECOM-Hunt/Byrne/Potere are the tri-venture construction manager at-risk.
