Bid All bid proposals will be made a part of the contract documents to be executed with the Township. Bid proposals are to be received in a sealed 9"x12" or 10"x13' envelope, and shall be marked: "Sealed Bid - BERNER DRIVE, DALE DRIVE, AND WOLSFELD DRIVE RESURFACING PROJECT", along with the name of the bidder. Please note that if submitting a proposal via the U.S. Postal Service, address your submittal to Katy Dolan Baumer, Clerk, Hanover Township, 250 S. IL Route 59, Bartlett, Illinois 60103. Paper copies of the bid document are not available. All bids received on or before Wednesday, March 23, 2022 will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid proposals for this project will be considered to determine the lowest responsible bidder. Hanover Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, to modify or eliminate Scope of Work, to award all or part of the Scope of Work, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for a period of ninety (90) days after the time set for receiving Bids. In general, the project includes resurfacing existing asphalt roadways. Work includes, but is not limited to 3-inch pavement surface removal, full-depth pavement patching, utility structure adjustments, aggregate wedge shoulders, grading and shaping ditches, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt level binder and surface courses, landscape restoration, traffic control and protection, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans and described herein.
