Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Burien, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The 1st Avenue S Watermain Replacement Phase 2 project involves the replacement of existing water mains in King County north of the City of Burien and consists of (2) schedules (A and B). Schedule A is the base bid and includes the installation of approximately 4,020 LF of 12" DI watermain and roughly 400 LF of 8" DI watermain to replace existing pipes in: 1st Avenue S. from S. 116th Street to S. 108th Street, and S. 108th Street from 1st Avenue S. to 4th Avenue SW. Schedule B is the alternate added Bid and involves the installation of approximately 2,000 LF of 8" DI to replace existing pipes in S. 112th Street from 1st Avenue S. until it dead-ends after 4th Avenue S. The specific location of the proposed facilities to be replaced is shown on the construction plans. The overall project also includes the installation of fire hydrant assemblies, multiple connections to the existing system and the replacement and reconnection of existing services. Also included as part of the work is the construction of rockeries and restoration work involving trench patching, grind and overlay, curb and sidewalk replacement, striping, traffic loop replacement, general restoration, as well as erosion control and traffic control. Subject to time lost due to inclement weather and delay in delivery of materials, should such delay not be the result of the undersigned's actions, the undersigned agrees to complete the entire project (Schedule A and B) within two hundred and forty (240) calendar days, beginning with the tenth (10th) calendar day after the date of written Notice to Proceed with the Work. In the event that only Schedule A of the project is awarded, the work for Schedule A must be completed within one hundred and sixty (160) calendar days.
