The principal work to be performed under this contract consist of, but not limited to improvement of the following: Furnish and install an 80 KW generator and ATS at the Main Well House and a 40 KW generator at the Well No. 4 with both including disconnects and wiring modifications. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the GCGB, at the address listed above on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 am -4 pm. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available as portable document format (PDF) files for a non-refundable charge of $50. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 11 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid.
